Yet they never started the Revolutionary Army, so clearly, Dragon knows about something that the World Government has kept hidden from the rest of the world. Despite One Piece having over a thousand chapters, there is very limited information available about the Revolutionary Army. In the recent chapters, Oda gave the fans an insight into what was happening in the Revolutionary Army, especially after it was revealed that Sabo had allegedly killed Nefertari Cobra. With things becoming more chaotic than ever, the readers are awaiting the next move that Monkey D. Dragon makes.

Getting Rid of Discontent
The news about Sabo and the other Revolutionary Army Commanders getting the better of the two Navy Admirals was certainly a big victory for the organization. For a long time, the outcome of this fight was kept under wraps, and the common consensus was that the Navy Admirals had emerged victorious. However, they were proven incorrect when it was finally disclosed that the Revolutionary Army had triumphed and managed to bring back Bartholomew Kuma to the Kamabakka Kingdom.
Every Revolutionary Commander except Sabo was present at the Kamabakka Kingdom. The reason behind Sabo not being with his comrades was the headline, that purported he had killed Nefertari Cobra, the king of Alabasta. Obviously, Dragon was not pleased when he read the news, and he demanded to know what exactly happened in Mary Geoise. Clearly, the news had started rumblings within the Revolutionary Army, and the sooner Dragon confirmed the veracity of the news, the better it would be for his organization.
Clarification
In One Piece chapter 1060, the conversation between Sabo and Dragon was finally disclosed. Sabo stated that when he was still in Mary Geoise, he saw something that baffled him. Sabo talked about the Empty Throne in the Pangaea Castle and that he saw someone occupying the place. Unfortunately, before Sabo could divulge all the information, Imu used a mysterious ability to destroy the island of Lulusia, where the chief-of-staff was hiding. The destruction of an island is no joke, and it remains to be seen how Imu destroyed the Lulusia Kingdom.

So far opinion has been divided on the matter of whether it was Imu’s own power or that of Uranus, one of the Ancient Weapons. The World Government possessing Uranus makes sense as Imu was seen walking and crossing out the Lulusia Kingdom on a map. It is important to keep in mind that the island wasn’t destroyed until after Imu had made an “X” shaped mark on it. Oda skipped over what happened to Sabo, but the chances of him surviving are low. With the fate of his right-hand man unknown, Dragon might be forced to make a move.
One Last Push
If Sabo were to be killed, then Dragon would be left trying to fill a huge void created by his death. Dragon will definitely try to find Sabo, and perhaps he will even send out a rescue team. The loss of Sabo will be monumental and not just in terms of power. Over time, Sabo has become just as popular as Dragon, and losing him would mean losing supporters to the cause. So, Dragon’s first priority will be to try and find out what happened to Sabo and save him.
This is the second time that the Revolutionary Army has had to delay their plans—the first time being the secret invasion of Mary Geoise to save Bartholomew Kuma. It seems like Oda is delaying the Revolutionary Army on purpose, but what could the reason be? Currently, the Revolutionary Army seems to be weaker than the World Government. Given their status, it would be foolish for the Revolutionaries to engage in an all-out war with the World Government. So, it would be better for Dragon and co. if they waited for someone else to land a serious blow on the World Government which would cripple them. However, this would mean deferring the plans even further, but it would be the smart decision as the Marines would easily overwhelm the Revolutionaries.
Another option for the Revolutionary Army is to extract information from Bartholomew Kuma. Kuma was a member of the Revolutionary Army before he became a Shichibukai. When Dragon asked Kuma about what happened at Mary Geoise, the latter had absolutely no hesitation in agreeing to Dragon’s demands. Given the possibility that Kuma could have gathered a great deal of information as a Shichibukai, it could drastically change the course of the world.
Any sensitive information about the World Government or their projects could pave the way for a win for the Revolutionary Army. There are rumours that Dragon might have an ally within the World Government, who would him. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen. The final saga has only just begun and the next chapters of the series are bound to disclose more vital information about the events taking place all over the world.
