Japan is in a state of emergency because of COVID-19, making it so that the voice-actors for One Piece cannot travel to the studio to do their work. The show is currently in The Wano Arc, and fans are eagerly anticipated what will come next for the heroes, but will have to wait.

In lieu of a brand new episode of the show, One Piece will be airing repeats beginning on April 26. As to how long the delays last, that is yet to be determined. Fans can also play the newly released One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 game instead of watching reruns.

Netflix is also creating a live-action One Piece show, and while its quality in the air, it’s clear that plans are changing for the show. Indeed, the gaming world has also shifted its plans thanks to COVID-19, as Sony seems to have had a PS5 reveal event originally planned for May before the pandemic. The whole world has slowed down as a result of the Coronavirus crisis.
