The skier adopted a puppy — which he named “Beemo” — while touring one of South Korea’s 17,000 dog meat farms.

In an Instagram post, Kenworthy shared several pictures from his “heart-wrenching” trip to the dog farm, which is currently in the process of being closed down.

Kenworthy said all 90 dogs that were on the farm are being taken to the U.S. and Canada for adoption.

Four years ago in Sochi, the 26-year-old adopted two puppies and helped bring stray dogs back to the United States.
